Hey Napa Peeps,
I just have to say that I had very low expectations for this weekend and it was far better than I could have ever imagined. If you would have told me that we would have had such an amazing time at happy hour I would have never believed it. In order to celebrate it I thought I would list out some random things about our weekend that I look forward to keeping in my memory. Great trip everybody!!
The List:
I have been exploring new things with the new BlackBerry App World on my Bold. One that keeps reappearing is Pandora. This service has been on my radar for a long time just like Last.fm. Unfortunately I haven’t had time to check them out. That is until this morning. I was doing my usual checking emails,
Today morning seemed to come way too early. Was it my job? I have actually been blessed to work at a great company with great people, so nope. Was it my personal life? I just spent all weekend enjoying good times with great people, so nope. Was it my body? I did just do 160 lunges on Saturday so my legs were a little sore, and my right foot hurt a little, so maybe this had a little to do with it.
As the snooze button kept reappearing in my life every 5 minutes 5:30 quickly became 6:05.
Little Joe was taking some time to rest up (Cupcake Monday) and we decided to have some new friends pull a prank. We were staying at Kinlay House in Dublin and had 5 people in a six bed room. We were worried that they would mistakenly sell that open bunk to some stranger. We sent the new friends up to the room with our key and Maverick recording.
Also this is my first real use of the new video feature in the BlackBerry Curve 4.5 OS. Sweet!
I went to a funeral in Chicago over the weekend. I was going partly to pay my respects and partly to support someone I love and care for very much. Her dad had pancreatic cancer and passed away last Saturday. The last funeral that I had been to was in 2003 when my grandfather passed away. Not really sure what reactions I was going to have I tried to stay level headed.
There have been some major changes in my life recently and some of these thoughts weighed heavy in my heart.
I never forward emails on, but this one deserved a replay so I posted it on my blog, enjoy.

Many of us join different social networking sites to interact with our network and stay current. LinkedIn is another one of these tools with a more professional bend to it.
Blogs have also become part of my ritual, and hence RSS feeds. Now we have a match made in heaven. I took the LinkedIn updates RSS feeds and plugged it into my Google RSS reader account.
I just can't get enough of this one. After little Joe to a near fatal fall coming into our hostel he needed a nap. And needless to say I thought it would be a great time to record him. So enjoy
All right so I was catching up on twitter after my run and noticed a tweet from @halo_slippin and thought, perfect idea I will show him what I am doing and he can tell me how bad it is for me. Or something like that.
First off the results of the run were 145 minutes or 2 hours 25 minutes to run 14.0 miles. Very close to the time I would need to finish the marathon in 4.5 hours. However after running at that speed for that long there is no way I could make the full 26.2 and keep up that speed. So I will be happy to be under 5 hours.
Also beware there are lots and lots of pictures with this post and an official RFC for @halo_slippin or Dr Halo or Dr slippin I don’t know. Lets start with the picture of the finish of the run
